East meets West

Chanel executives are in San Francisco (not necessarily on surf boards but I love the imagery) to celebrate the re-opening of the Chanel boutique. Renowned architect, Peter Marino, has designed what is now one of the most beautiful Chanel boutiques in the world, open to the public tomorrow. Tonight is a private showing of the Cruise collection 2010 that was first shown on the boardwalk at the Lido Beach Club in Venice. One of my favorite shows, the romance evoked was extraordinary. Looking forward to the reinterpretation in San Francisco.

Chanel is so eternally chic season after season. I treasure my vintage Chanel pieces and love that they feel both fresh and classic. Thank you for sharing these great images Marcy. I look forward to celebating the opening of the San Francisco boutique with you tonight!

    Hi Megan and Jean,

So happy to hear from you on my new blog! Megan, I agree with you about the dress and especially with those boots. It is wonderful juxtaposition of ladylike lace and modern. I love contrasts and the unexpected. Jean I couldn't agree with you more. ETERNALLY CHIC sums it up.
