Frog Feet

When it comes to style, I am all about beauty, but sometimes you need a good laugh. About a month ago I stepped into a shop on Presidio Avenue and tried on a pair of these funny looking shoes by Vibram called Five Fingers. They were so comfortable and intriguing that I put my name on a waiting list for the walking ones. There is also running model that is quite popular.

If you were a kid that liked to be barefoot all summer long like I did, then I suggest you try them out, at the very least they make great slippers if you have hardwood floors. I have been breaking them in with the idea that I might take them to Paris in May. I have one friend who will absolutely die when she hears this but if I can be comfortable and laugh, how good is that?

I think frogs are totally chic and their feet make outstanding footwear! The rubber soles will be good for the Parisian streets...easy to wash off the little doggy treats left behind.

I know a very stylish man who owns a black pair. I was quite surprised when he picked me up in them one weekend. As to my question WHY?! he responded, "because it feels like you are barefoot". He has attractive feet. Wonder what they look like on extra wide size 13.

Saw a really cute girl wearing them the other day. Perhaps attractive feet are a prerequisite for these.

    Hi Megan and Claudia,

Megan, frogs ARE totally chic. Kudos to you!

Claudia, good to hear from your design world. Mine are black as well. That yellow innersole throws things off. I am not sure of the prerequisite but as with anything else dressing well helps.

    Have a great weekend! xx
