Maison Lesage

by MARCY CARMACK | Edit
Lace never goes out of style and while this is not Lesage lace, it gives the effect at a much lower price point. Françoise Lesage was a French couture embroiderer who did exquisite work and collaborated with all the top houses like Balmain, Balenciaga, Dior and Givenchy. When he died in 2011, his atelier became part of Chanel.

I am wearing my lace blouse with a pair of Cinq à sept cropped flares that have slits and bows. My Jill Stuart shoes mirror the pants. A little cutsie for me but you have to step out of your comfort zone from time to time. I would wear this look for cocktails, under a blazer with different shoes for a fun day look and with jeans to go clubbing.

 Let's cha-cha-cha!
